Designed for the intermediate skier who is comfortable performing short and long turns on blues and red pistes and looking to increase their level of accuracy, control and performance and take their skiing to a higher level. Perfecting your position, improving balance and adding in dynamics to help you become an all round skier to tackle more advanced terrain and across varied conditions.
Whether your weakness lies with your long or short turns or you wish to develop carving skills and build your confidence skiing on more difficult terrain or you simply want some high quality professional training to improve your skills and style, the Improver Camps are perfect for you.

SIA Ski Camps provide the practical training only, all other aspects such as accommodation, lift pass and transfers you must organise yourself.
This gives you the flexibility to plan the other parts of your trip to your own budget. If you need advice on places to stay, simply get in touch and we can offer our local knowledge.

We are lucky enough to have the incredible Kitzsteinhorn glacier on our doorstep which provides us with fantastic terrain and reliable conditions at high altitude.

Kaprun is your ideal location to source your camp lodging with various options available on such sites as Airbnb and booking.com Being in Kaprun means that you have quick and easy access up the Maiskogel lift and onwards to the glacier each day but also allows you to enjoy evenings socials with others.
Alternatively Zell am See can be a viable option for accommodation with easy bus links to Kaprun and the lift system to the glacier. If staying in Zell just make sure that you take note of the bus timetable if you do not have access to a car.

Available Courses
If I could go back and do it all again I would, without a doubt! Apart from the extreme goggle tan I went home with, there wasn’t any negatives. The instructors, people and area were amazing, even if you aren’t a great skier or haven’t skied at all go for it, that’s what I did and I now can proudly say I have my Landes one qualification.
I loved every second of it! Fantastic coaches for skiing and boarding, would definitely recommend Ski Instructor Academy to anyone thinking of becoming an instructor or furthering their instructor qualifications.
The Dual Course was awesome. I made some great friends, great memories and had the best winter ever. I earned a fantastic qualification which I used all season teaching skiing and snowboarding in Austria and I have used it to teach in California too! The ski schools really do value the teaching skills and training you receive from Ski Instructor Academy
The course was outstanding, the teaching level was unbeatable, the location was superb and the instructors and people that are part of the SIA team are remarkable… I wish I could do it all over again!
