ST ANTON, AUSTRIA
THE CRADLE OF ALPINE SKIING
The pedigree of St Anton am Alberg as a premier ski destination is difficult for other European ski resorts to rival. It is a truly world class, modern ski resort offering up a snowy paradise of the highest calibre.
St Anton is Austria’s Ski Capital and part of one of the world’s largest ski areas – Ski Arlberg, of which St Anton alone makes up nearly half of it’s gigantic 12,350 acres of terrain. Sitting in a narrow valley, the village has a car-free centre, with bags of traditional character, and bustles with activity throughout the day and late into the night.
The Ski School Arlberg is the largest school in Austria and has a great reputation, thanks in part to it’s instructors, many of whom trained and qualifed with us at Ski Instuctor Academy. Many of our instructor courses can be combined with our unique Job Guarantee in St Anton allowing you to spend a full season working in a high quality ski school.
St Anton is set within a stunning valley in the Arlberg region of tirol. The resort is linked via ski lift to St Christoph, Lech and Zürs as well as many other resorts, making it one of the biggest ski regions in Austria – all of which only requires one lift pass.
A perfect combination of superbly prepared slopes for all ability levels, but is a particularly popular with advanced and intermediate skiers with huge amounts of off-piste, challenging steep slopes and deep-snow ski runs, snow parks, carving areas, permanent racing circuits and numerous mogul fields are why St Anton has clamied many awards over the years and why it will come as no surprise to find it on many a snow-lover’s bucket list.
