This summer, we’re bringing our tailored German Language Camps online, giving you the perfect opportunity to enhance your language skills in the lead-up to our autumn and winter courses.
The German Course Built for Ski Instructors. By Someone Who's Been There.
Learning German before your season isn’t just about passing exams. It’s about walking into your first day at a ski school with the confidence to communicate with your boss, your colleagues, and your guests. From day one.
Our German Language Course is back for 26/27, with a new tutor who knows exactly what that feels like. A former SIA participant and trained ski instructor with 10 years in the industry, they’re fluent in German and intimately familiar with everything you’ll face. The Anwärter exams, the ski school environment, and the day-to-day reality of life as an instructor in Austria.
Whether you’re chasing one great season or building a career abroad, developing your German is one of the highest-value things you can do before you arrive.
Camp breakdown
We offer Summer or Autumn courses at two different levels, for those starting from zero or those looking to build towards intermediate proficiency. For those looking for more specific tuition, private sessions are also available to book!
Beginner Course
8 sessions over 4 weeks | 2 x per week | Tue & Thu @ 19:00 BST | Max 8 participants
For those with little to no experience in reading, writing, or speaking German:
Designed to build your foundations fast. You’ll cover pronunciation, core vocabulary, basic grammar, and essential instructor-specific language. Everything from greeting guests and describing equipment to navigating the resort and speaking to your ski school.
By the end of the course you’ll have the confidence to introduce yourself, understand basic instructions, and hold simple conversations in German.

Improver Course
4 sessions over 4 weeks | 1 x per week | Tue @ 20:00 BST | Max 6 participants
Already have the basics?
This course pushes your German into instructor-ready territory. You’ll focus on the language of teaching, exam-relevant theory content, real ski school scenarios, and the confidence to operate comfortably in a German-speaking environment from day one on the job.
