Slopes

In the ski world, the Three Valleys really needs no introduction. For those of you who don’t know,  this is THE LARGEST SKI AREA IN THE WORLD, connected by some of the best and most highly acclaimed ski resorts in the Alps and indeed the world.

From the heart of the Three Valleys sits Meribel, sitting at the crossroads connecting it to Courchevel, La Tania, Brides-les-Bains, Les Menuires, Saint Martin de Belleville, Val Thorens and Orelle, and with each of those resorts offering more connections to the rest of this incredible ski area. Needless to say if you wish to explore the full Three Valleys you are going to need to take a more than just an annual 1-week ski trip, maybe a sabbatical is in order…

ACTIVITIES

With each resort you visit the selection of activities is going to change, however collectively across the resorts making up the Three Valleys there are too many possible activities to list here, but rest assured that if there is some sort of winter or indoor (non ski/snowboard) activity you are interested in, you just need to go to the right resort to find it.

With more kilometres of skiable terrain available than anyone could possibly hope to fit into a single ski holiday, forget the in-resort extra activities on offer, you have your work cut out exploring the largest ski area on the planet!!

NIGHTLIFE / APRES!

This is the French Alps and when it comes to nightlife and socialising in a mountain resort here it’s all about the apres! Anyone who knows the French Alps can tell you that one world renown establishment sits at the top of everyones mind when it comes to apres, La Folie Douce! With three locations in the the Three Valleys alone, each one slightly different and all three definitely worth visiting/sampling/experiencing whilst out on the slopes.

Then when you do eventually decide to venture into the resorts for further entertainment and refreshments you are not going to be short of many fantastic and award winning bars, restaurants and clubs. From the top of Courchevel, across to Val Thorens and down to Meribel, there truly is a massive list of evening hot spots to enjoy, just maybe not all in the one night…
