Description of Activities

Ski Instructor Academy (SIA) sells and operates ski and snowboard training courses around the world. Any examinations included within instructor training courses are conducted by independent professional bodies without bias towards SIA participants.

Austrian training courses are conducted by our own ski school, The Snowsports Company Kaprun which is owned and operated by Mr Wouter Kuit. Examinations are conducted independently by professional Austrian Ski Associations including Salzburger Berufschilehrer & Snowboardlehrer Verband (SBSSV), Snowsports Academy Vienna Schilehrerverband (WSSV) and the Tiroler Schilehrerverband.

Canadian training courses are conducted by Whistler Blackcomb ski school and Lake Louise Ski School respectively. Examinations are conducted independently by the Canadian Ski Instructors’ Alliance (CSIA) and Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors (CASI).

French training courses are conducted by BASS Ski School in Morzine. Examinations are conducted independently by the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI).
